Marlin is a devoted husband and father living in Los Angeles, California. He enjoys hiking, cryptography, kite-flying at the beach with his daughter, playing chess, and occasionally entertaining a good conspiracy theory. During the day he occupies much of his time as an Engineer, but at night, he has successfully convinced himself that he is a Writer trapped in the body of an Engineer. In support of that inner-Writer, he is in the process of working on his debut novel with plans to expand it into a series. Although this debut series will be of the science fiction genre, Marlin is looking forward to exploring different genres of fictional writing in the forms of novels, novellas, short stories, articles, and poems. In the meantime, he is straddling the line in the middle of that left-brain/right-brain dichotomy.
